Meetings
Regular Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 5:00 PM in the Library. Meetings are open to the public. For more information contact the Library Director at lawson_director@scplky.org or 502-477-8137.
Board Appointments
Members of the Board of Trustees are appointed by the Spencer County Judge-Executive with the approval of the Spencer County Fiscal Court. Members serve a four-year term and may be elected to one additional four-year term. Board members are responsible for the overall governance of the Spencer County Public Library.
Trustees donate their time and effort for the benefit of the library and the community; they cannot legally receive compensation for their services.
